Welcome to ParaMed Billing Solutions ("ParaMed," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms")
govern your access to and use of our medical billing, credentialing, and revenue cycle management services
(the "Services"). By engaging our Services or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Scope of Services
ParaMed provides professional administrative and consultative services, including but not limited to:
- Medical Billing and Claims Processing
- Provider Credentialing and Enrollment
- Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)
- Accounts Receivable (A/R) Recovery
- Compliance and Denial Management
2. Client Responsibilities
To ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our Services, the Client agrees to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and timely encounter data and patient information.
- Maintain all necessary clinical documentation required to support billed claims.
- Ensure all providers are legally licensed and authorized to perform the services being billed.
- Notify ParaMed immediately of any changes in practice ownership, provider status, or payer contracts.
3. Fees and Payment
Service Fees: Fees for Services are outlined in the specific Service Agreement executed between ParaMed and the Client.
Billing Cycles: Unless otherwise stated, invoices are issued monthly and are due upon receipt.
Late Payments: ParaMed reserves the right to suspend Services for accounts that are more than thirty (30) days past due.
4. Compliance and HIPAA
ParaMed is committed to maintaining the highest standards of data security and regulatory compliance.
Business Associate Agreement (BAA): We will execute a BAA with every Client to ensure the protection of Protected Health Information (PHI) in accordance with HIPAA and HITECH regulations.
Compliance: While ParaMed provides coding and billing guidance, the final responsibility for medical necessity and clinical documentation rests solely with the Client.
5. Term and Termination
Duration: These Terms remain in effect for the duration of any active Service Agreement.
Termination: Either party may terminate the partnership according to the notice period specified in the individual Service Agreement (typically 30, 60, or 90 days).
Post-Termination: Upon termination, ParaMed will provide final reports and transition data as outlined in the Service Agreement, provided all outstanding balances are paid.
6. Limitation of Liability
ParaMed shall not be liable for any denials or loss of revenue resulting from inaccurate data provided by the Client,
clinical necessity disputes, or changes in payer policies beyond our control. Our total liability is limited to the fees
paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
7. SMS and Communication
By providing your contact information, you consent to receive account-related updates, payment confirmations,
and enrollment reminders via email or SMS. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying "STOP."
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which ParaMed Inc. is legally incorporated,
without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
